| No Malfunction as Prince Rocks Halftime
Phew! CBS got through the halftime show without a "wardrobe malfunction." The Artist Formerly Known as a Munchkin of Wardrobe Dysfunction began by singing "Let's Go Crazy," but he didn't.
Prince, who became a Jehovah's Witness in the mid-1990s, no longer wears yellow, butt-baring pants as he did at the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards (prompting Howard Stern's send-up at the '92 VMAs). The closest thing to a fashion statement Sunday night was an odd kerchief on his head. So the NFL had no repeat of the 2004 Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake show, which happened the last time CBS broadcast the game.

Lucille Ball Returns from Dead to Call Prince's Music "Crap ...
"You call that crap music? I've heard Ashlee Simpson bark out better stuff on the wrong side of an acid reflux aspiration," the feisty redhead snapped. This after Lucille Ball was approached earlier today by reporters alleging Super Bowl halftime show personality, Prince, had "stolen her look". They were of course referring to a particularly unflattering headwrap graced towel-like over the singer's head for most of last night's performance. In a well attended interview, Lucy, from her side of the Pearly Gates, fielded questions from reporters and other hopefuls yearning to catch a few one liners from the former comedy goddess. "Tell us Lucy," someone in the crowd yelled, "what was worse, his music or the headwrap?" "What the hell was that all about? He looked like death warmed over. And believe me, I know what I'm talking about," she riposted, gesturing at a few of the newly arrived corpses behind her.

Web only:On Feb. 3, I rocked my baby to sleep. It was one of life's sweetest moments. How did I ever live for five whole months without a rocking chair? I returned earlier than expected to my home in Utah at the very end of January during one of its notorious inversions. Folks everywhere were complaining about the pollution. To me, the air seemed like balm to my tired lungs in comparison to the horrendous pollution we had been breathing in Tianjin. A lump came to my throat when I drove up and down the streets, looking over at the snow-covered mountains and marveling at the sheer beauty of my home. It's a magical landscape that most folks in Tianjin will only get to see in pictures or their dreams. I took Sophie to her first day of kindergarten and she came home ecstatic.
